JOB DESCRIPTION

As a regionally placed security expert, you will work strategically with security issues and be a close support to the regional manager regarding priorities and strategic governance. You will be responsible for preparing decision-making materials, conducting analyses, following up and evaluating results, and contributing proposals for long-term direction within the security area. In this role, you will identify areas for development, make strategic priorities, and serve as a qualified support within security at both regional and national levels. Furthermore, you will actively contribute your expertise to further develop the organization’s security work. Your responsibilities will also include issues related to incident reporting (ISAP), as well as monitoring deviations, investigations, and inspections from both a regional and national perspective. You will be part of the working group that deals with the national situation report and Kriminalvården's fire group, and you will also participate as a representative in the reference group during development work. In your role, you are expected to promote good cooperation between national and regional levels. You will be responsible for regional security forums and may be part of Kriminalvården's TIB organization. The position is located at the regional office in Stockholm.

QUALIFICATIONS

To succeed in the role of security expert, you need to be able to work independently and in a structured manner. You enjoy collaborating with different types of people and are flexible in your working style. As a person, you think strategically and have a broad perspective on issues.

Requirements:

• Academic education/degree of at least 120 credits corresponding to two years at a university/college in areas deemed relevant by Kriminalvården. Alternatively, other education combined with experience that Kriminalvården finds relevant
• Experience in collecting, compiling, assessing, and analyzing information to make assessments from a risk and security perspective
• Experience in handling cases, conducting investigations, and preparing decisions
• Experience and understanding of Kriminalvården's various operational branches
• Experience in security work within Kriminalvården
• Good knowledge of security work
• Good computer skills and a strong understanding of the importance of secure information management
• Good knowledge of the authority's management and governance
• Ability to express yourself well in speech and writing in Swedish

Meritorious:

• Documented work experience from several different operational branches within Kriminalvården
• Experience in security work at regional and/or national levels
• Further training in the security area
• Internal training within Kriminalvården's operations
• Experience in planning, conducting, and following up security training, exercise activities, and search work
• Experience in inter-agency cooperation
• Experience in leadership
• Experience in strategic systematic fire protection work
